Warcraft III

I need help!
I´ve got the WarCraft III CD and DirectX 8.1b
And warcraft doesn´t find the DirectX version!
Help!:confused:

When it asks you to install DX from the cd just click yes, and see if that helps.

it says that WarCraft III doesn´t find DirectX and that i have to install it from the CD, but when i Install it it doesn´t do it, because there is a newer version of it on my PC

What OS are you using? '98 or XP?

Hmm wierd, since Direct x is tough to delete once you have it I don't know how to get rid of it and install that older version of it. :cool:
