Has anyone had problems running this game? The menu screen works but when I wanna actually get into the game and race it freezes up and I have to do a hard reboot.
Anyone else had similar problems?

I am running it on Windows 2000 with a Matrox G400 graphics card.

only suggestions would be the usual.... up to date drivers, direct x, scandisk/defrag and reinstall :(

I'm just kinda pisses coz I wasted a CD on it.

Is there some kind of program that lets you run the image file before burning it?

yes there is. try daemon tools. hxxp://daemon-tools.com. u can have up to four virutal cdrom drives and it will run almost any file type. clone cd, bin/cue. blind read write, iso, etc. works awesome

I sometimes have probs with daemon tools ( with this game for example:) ), so an alternative would be ISOBUSTER. this extracts the iso into files, and lets you run the install from a directory. Worth a look anyway...
