IL2 sturmovik iso problem

Cant get the game to start at all. English version, tried patching, nocd, and russian nocd. The russian version works well, but i dont speak russian at all :)

Kinda old i know, but a classic air combat game they tell me. anyone had this problem?

My box:

xp1800+
gf3 ti500
512 ddr
live audigy

The IL2 Sturmovik is an excellent game! I have it and i ran it without any problems.. I'm running the original version (v1.0) so i havn't tried the patches yet...

dont know what release i got iso wize. Im running win xp. Ive tried both 1.0 and 1.4. Game does not look for cd.

can you tell us what the problem is exactly?? do you get an error when starting the game or an error during the installation??

game installs just fine. No errormessages when trying to start. It just doesent start. Not even a littlebit.

I just copied over the crack and mine ran fine V.1.00 :cool:

no crack on cd.

the rts.dll file that comes in the nocd from gamecopyworld is identical with the one on the cd.
bah, maybe this is some homemade stuff. strange that it installs if that is the case. Thanks anyway.

Hope you can get it to work.....it's a terrific game and one of my favorites.

I ran Daemon tools and install it throught that, then i took home the patches and it runs perfect? I even played on the net with it.

As GreenGriffon said, "it's a terrific game" !! I even went out to buy a joystick to be able to play it properly :)
