a full time high school studnet. School isn't that bad, I actually enjoy it - there is a lot of work to accomplish but that's just life.
I also have a part-time job as a KFC employee. I cook chicken :) The job pays well compared to the dodgy Hungry Jacks and McDonald's.

i am a student but this is my final year so next year i'm going to uni to start learning how to be a journalist :)
i have a job as a checkout chick at the local supermarket (woolworths moorooka :) ) and when i first started there i absolutely loved working there...
i still have a good time most of the time, and i would have to say that i really don't hate customers in general.
i hate this one customer who kind of harrasses me... he comes in and tries to flirt with me but he's real old... and then asks ppl for my last name and stuff like that... then yesterday he pulled my hair... grrr... i'm *this* close to telling my manager so he can tell him to get the f*** out.
otherwise i mostly like my customers. i have some really great friends who i work with but there are a few people there who i really don't get along with, and sometimes that spoils my whole day :(
but i get paid. i'm not really complaining.

ARGH! Law enforcment on this board! Isn't there some rule against that? j/k
I work for the German Red Cross at the airport, bringing handicapped to their planes and getting them out of there. Some rescue-stuff, too, but that doesn't happen often, more like 2 or 3 times a week. Pushing wheelchairs around kind of sucks, but it's ok, it's just boring. Sometimes we have interesting people to talk to, and I have mostly nice colleagues (sp? This looks even worse than my standarization :p) and we have a lot of free time, and we have a DVD-player at our "base-camp" :) Rescueing people is really fun (however dumb that might sound), even though we don't do much, we (as social workers (Zivis, for those of you who speak german)) don't know anything about any medical stuff, but we have people working there who do, and we help them by carrying stuff and so on. The only downside of rescueing people is that sometimes you don't succeed. I saw two people dying right in front of me :(
Actually I don't work there anymore. Officially I do, and I still have my security-ID etc., but I've got holidays right now until 28th of august, and after that I have to go there once to give away my ID etc., and them I'm free to do what I want to (Here in germany we have to do either 10 months military or 10 months social service) :) After that I'll go to the Uni and study either computer science or "Softwaresystemtechnik", which is like computer engineering...

I'm a Help Desk Level I and part-time trainer
for computer/internet/OS issues.
Not something I would recommend to anyone,
as the industry has little respect for this job,
and thousands of these jobs are going to
India, away from the G10 countries.
People here in North America, asking for help,
soon will be calling across the planet, to
somone in New Delhi or Calcutta. I have
nothing against this, but I just wouldn't
expect the contrary to be normal either, such
as someone from Bombay to call Toronto,
asking for help is using ms works 2000, for
example, or using the modem. That's 20,000
miles away, no ?

Part time student this year *damn student loan*
This last year and still now I've been doing tech support for an ISP. I get to help the technicaly impaired with
- ADSL and dialup
- domain hosting
- and e-mail, which is all most people seem to care about
my jobs not bad, I git to sit on my ass all day and surf the web, anything goes...just no porn while at work ;)
I don't mind helping people that don't know very much as long as they listen and try to fallow instuctions. I hate the dumb fucks that call in that are egnorant and question everything I ask them to do.

I am also full time student...
But I do have a job at KFC also. Generally, I don't do all that much work when I am there, but when I do, it's not that fun. Having to deal with customers that can't have 5 bloody center breast pices of chicken in their Family Feast isn't exactly what I'd call an ideal job (although explaining to them that a chicken only has 1 breast piece is pretty kewl as you get to severly disappoint them)

Apart from being a student, I work one or two days a week at my two local football clubs (by that I mean REAL football aka soccer :)) as a waiter at one and selling food at the other.
The things that annoy me are people who don't understand the point of a queue and moan after they've been waiting for 5 minutes, even though there's 50 other people waiting to be served. Also, people who expect you to do everything for them.

I work for a Forestry company as the IT infrastucture supervisor, basically I look after every device on the network, WAN/LAN, all the budgets. Plus do strategic development, mentoring etc. And I do a lot of the purchasing of servers/pc's etc (just bought a 2.0 ghz laptop for meself :D ) and I build and maintain all the servers.
It's a pretty good job, I was contracting to them before I came onboard permanantly - and my wife works here in IT as well. That's pretty cool cause we can do lunch every day :)

well, i'm 17, so ... school :(
but i'm "working" for 2 webdesign "companys"
as a 3D-Artist/designer. One of them is my
friends company (so just 2 employes, him (17)
and me :D) and the other one is also from
a friend and 2 others, so 4 employes, all 17 :)
Hope to work as an 3D-Artist for a bigger company
which doesn't deal so much with webdesign, I'm
more interessted in film-productions and commercials.

Full Time High School Student. Last year before I head off to university (still donno which one, and which field to get into!)
I've worked as tech support support (yes, it's twice... cos I support tech support) for a small IT company last year. Also taught swimming.
But now I'm working as a sales rep in retail. What I like, it's not hard at all. What I don't, it gets boring FAST.

Full time student studying Computer Science.
Can't wait until I finish my degree and get a real job.
For the time being I stack shelves at the local supermarket on the weekends. It's close, the pay is good enough but some of the customers and other staff members are complete morons.

I'm a web admin for a small isp. I do web design, programming, and help take care of the servers. I like the job well enough, but the department accross the hall likes to snoop in everything we do. And that sucks. They don't need to know about our game or ftp servers. ;)

I have a whole bunch of jobs
I own a lawn service (mostly mowing, but some pruning, fertilizing, weed spraying, and sprinkler work). Also have some contracts to do janitorial work at 3 office buildings. And to top it off, I also do some computer work for people, mostly building servers fors a network security company.
I hate mowing lawns, it is the same boring shit all day every day, the only reason I continue to do it, is it pays pretty damn good, everyone is so damn lazy these days that they are willing to pay big bucks to have it done for them.
i'm still a law student :/

Currently I'm a checkout operator at the local supermarket. Doesn't pay much but its not as crap a job as I first expected.
I've just got back from an interview with Entanet, an ISP who has headquarters in the area (HQ building looks like a frickin' Chinese restaurant!) to be a Customer Support Operative, which basically means I'll be a tech-support guy :)
