I just realise how you know if there are any new posts in the sections...

I think we ned some other way to show new posts... so there is no doubt in hell that a new post has come in... not just a slightly change of color :/

Let me know what you thing :)

hmm the new post indication works fine at my end. i suggest you clean your cookies and try again :)

They look pretty distinct to me:

Maybe you're monitor's colors are mess up, or maybe you just have bad eyes :p

Well spank my ass and call me charlie then...

I accually am declaired "color blind" and its the red color I have problems with... :(

Isnt there any chance we could change it? I think all the color blind people would aggre :D

dunno, I'm partially colour blind and I'm fine with it :)
I like the new yellow look of the board too....

maybe a text description thing (dunno how its called) on the new post markers, like u put the pointer in it and it says new posts or no new posts ...

Perhaps change the background colour of the table cells with the threads that have new posts to something that is slightly darker/lighter than those without new posts?

That should help those who are colour-blind a bit.

//edit - the original post could have been contrived as offensive to colour-blind people (it wasn't intended to be!)

Thats called "Alternate Text" - it shows up when you hover over the image or for people browsing with images disabled. I dont think its that hard to implement, and thusly, i like the idea. :)
