12th September, how many sleeps is that ??? I can't wait for this little sucker cuz the demo blew me away. Shit this game is fun :D

Do you think it'll be worth it? I mean whether it will offer something more then MOHAA did. I loved that one :)

If your have already played codename eagle on a lan and had fun with that, just multiply 1942 by ten and your should come close. Even if ya d/l the multi demo of wake island and fly around it by yourslef for a while you could get the idea of what it would be like with 64 ppl in there.

the demo is pretty cool.. although it seems to be missing sounds.. hopefully the final games won't be short any sounds

I should point out that it doesn't play much like a tactical shooter.. it's pretty much action..

Played for the first time last night.. ended up playing about 3 hours (a lot for me). I must say it pretty freaking fun especially when you can actually get some good teamwork going. What's up with the f'ing TKers though?? every server I tried had them.. Can't stand TKers!

... humm.. I assume you need to BUY the game to play online...

so.. let me hope that America's Army will be in that direciton too...

That game is going to own. It's sweet, and new. I can't stop playing that one level, and since they are gonna add even more vehicles, it'll own more (think subs). WAHOO!

I usually dont play demos or any level more than once.
I have to admit that i got really hooked on BF1942.
Played it several times, both sides, up to 'Impossible'.'

I have to say it is quite exciting driving a Tiger around and destroying everything, or sitting in the bunker when the enemy's tiger is lurking around.
The flying controls on the Wake Island takes some time to get used to, there are some bugs generally in the demos,
but I think this is going to be 'game of the year' for me.
