july 31st, LEXISO released another version of win xp prof, which they claim to be final code. their nfo says it differs from the previous releases and they state that it is more stable than previous releases as well.
i was wondering if anyone has tried this yet? and if so, what are your thought on it?
this is just another oem release - lexiso is bsing if they claim this to be any more stable or advanced than previous releases.

Looks to me like a ploy so it won't get nuked as a dupe

just fyi, the files from the lexiso version adds maybe 80 mbs more than what is on the devils version. i wonder what this extra space is alotted to.

yeah 2k for eva!!! ;)
The devilsown version of WinXp is said not to be the final version: you can't install some prog on it whereas you can install the same prog on the Lexiso version.
For the crack, i had the same pbl (and a guy i know too), it should be a pbl from their release. You have to extract the crack from the original .bin using WinIso or CDmage and it will work.
the fact is different people have different setups (systems), so it is hard to compare and say that a release is more stable than another when there will be different factors all the time. the ideal test would be two systems exactly the same with different releases installed on them. anyway, run the devilsown release through MS's own crc checker and you will indeed see that it is a untouched iso dirrectly from MS.

right on, reep where can i find this crc checker?
it comes with windows xp and is called sfc.exe - additional information can be found here (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/proddocs/system_file_checker.asp).
