Do any of you dudes remember a game called Deluxe Galaga on the Amiga? It was an absolutely fab-a-roo clone of the old Galaga game, only fantastically better.

Well, the dude responsible for it has made a PC version! Its still only in beta stages but I've found it so good I've already paid my $15!

not bad. neat little game.

grafix are really cool and fun to watch although enemies get really repetitive after a while...have played like 10 levels and didn't get a single huge endboss...just some a little bigger ones.

i also like the specials you can get. this raybeam that captures enemy ships and make them yours is a great idea although it would be cool to be ale to catch more than just two and if they would last over levels and not just disapear.

but I don't think I'll donate my money for it ...

toeffy: The raybeam only captures two ships, but if you carry on catching enemies in it, it kills them instantly so you don't have to worry about them.

And having it last longer would make the game too easy IMO :)

15 USD for this???? geeez I can make a better one with open gl if i have some free time. Its very simple! even in systems like Dark Basic...

Ethan: Dark Basic or OpenGL wouldn't be the appropriate system to use for a game like this.

I think its worth $15 anyway :) You have the option of paying $5 for the full game, but you don't get the level editor and all the extras :p
