Anyway I played a lot Shogun.. this must be more interesting because you have several Nations to play from Russia to Spain...

anyone else is having extreme performance problemss with it?
im having a 1ghz athlon and 384 ram and a geforce2. so that shouldnt be a problem but i only get 2-3 frames while fighting with the armies. the stregic view is fine. all my drivers are up to date and i got no background processes. l already set all details and resolution to minimum

Yeah its Slooooowwwww, on my pc too. 1.2gig, gf4, 256mg.

I know these sort of games don't really need 60fps, but it would look a lot more polished if it didnt resemble like a slideshow:/

The graphics are ok, but it doesnt seem like theres much happening on screen that should strain the pc.

what resolution are you using?

I'm torn when it comes to this game. I wasn't very impressed with Shogun. But the Dark Ages are more of my era. And then, it's 2 CD's and that's no cakewalk.

and it requires more than 1.6 Gb on your hard disk..

I had to delete some games to make room for it :'( :'(

My buddy and me stayed up til 7am 2 nights in a row drunk as hell playin' this beotch. Consequently are reasoning went down as the night progressed and the bottles emptied. Ah well. Punched him in the throat for no apparent reason anyway. Must of been a good night.

Sorry sergio, only just rechecked this thread.
I was running the demo, tutorials, at 1024x768 32 bit colour, and i didnt fiddle witht he grpahics settings, so they woudl have been at default. Maybe theres been some optimising between the demo release and full, because I was hitting about 10 fps in places, with about 50/60 units visible:/

Was gonna buy this one, but Ill make sure its gonna run ok on my pc first I think:)

It runs decently with my athlon xp 1,53 and a voodoo 3. not looking superb though.. ;)
