I don't trust anything that Dell has stamped with thier name, Lord knows how many other stamps they own (WD, trinitron) LOL

my experience with them is pretty good... i had a real nice dell trinitron monitor a year or so ago... only reason i sold it was to make a killer profit selling it... got $40 more than i paid :D

Maybe you find a good deal, but I bet you can get most things cheaper at www.pricewatch.com (e.g. 120GB IBM = 120 $)

yeah, i don't doubt that, but most of the cheper parts on there are generic.

as for the $120 120GB... there's more for shipping. Still, yeah, a good deal :D

It seems to be quite popular so I will say it as well.
If it says Dell one the box, you couldnt give it to me..

I won an IBM NetVista X40i in a competition, but as it was non-upgradeable I deemed it not good enough for me, so I sold it for £860 :)

What a profit! :)

But I agree, I wouldn't buy Dell stuff for love or money. One because of the stupid ads, and two because they are a box-shifter and its usually cheaper to get stuff from independent stores.

what?

you don't have to buy all of that stuff, it's just an example of some of the better deals.

anything dell branded on their home user website is covered by this coupon... i don;t think it covers computers, though.

Dell isn't bad at all, they have fairly good service and their stuff is quite good quality wise.. Dell has like incredibly good customer satisfaction rating (well.. they don't sell VIA or AMD stuff. so that kinda explains it, nothing against those companies, but they're basically for the hardcore computer users not the err... softcore)
I still won't buy from'em cause when I want somethin, I want it NOW!! :D

Gateway, HP, and Compaq are far worse..

i agree with bane... there are much worse. Gateway are Piss Poor. Compaq are even worse, and my friend's dad works for them and admits it :D
