Jay And Silent Bob Strikes Back

I cant really say im a fan of parodymovies .. well this time i actually didnt even know it was a parody movie ... but i like thisone somehow .. they make some really noticeable parodies of movies you will most certainly know ... like E.T starwars and Scooby Doo (the cartoons ofcourse ... i was actually thinking of watching scooby before instead of thisone) and pretty good too .. in their own special way :)

You just have to bear with all the bad language (and believe me .. it contains ALOT) , other than that its one of the better parodymovies ive seen.

Its got lots of celebrities in it that makes spoofs of themselves, make sure you check the credits for it since youll probably wont recognize some of them. (Like Carrie Fisher from starwars for instance)

I recommend it for ages from 15 to 40, and i give it 6 out of 10 ... but thats mostly because i dont really like parodies.

I also have to point out that i knew nothing about Jay and silent bob or this movie before i watched it (the only thing i knew was their names and that theyre in Afromans video)

spock... you should check out his other flicks: Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma... they're all great films in their own right.

Jay and Silent Bob Strikes back is a great movie.. it's offensive and screwed up but manages to be funny, which is the most important thing in a comedy..

Silent Bob is Kevin Smith in case anyone doesn't know.. and one of the three female jew thieves is Kevin Smith's wife..

this movie is an expansion of the premise of Jay and Silent Bob taken from all the other movies. There's not much plot to take from the other movies, save for that bit in mallrats, but people wanted to see them in their own feature. J&SB adds little plot, yes, but it is done in complete faithfulness to their parts in his other flicks. You can't tell me that you didn't enjoy any of it. Hell, it's as clever as any of his other films, the way he can intertwine a plot and also reference to his other films he has made.

I had seen jay and silent bob in Clerks. (That i think is a very good movie) But i found Jay and Silent Bob strikes back disapointing . It was funny, but far away from the coolness of clerks (hmm .not sure if i used the right word for this .. :) )

sinesky... that's all it was meant to be, just some fun. All his other movies are so clever and well made... especially chasing amy. such a great movie... it's a chick flick for guys... :D

If you have the DVD, watch the deleted scene with the hookers. there is more dirty language in that 3 minute scene than in any porno I have ever seen.

it was originally in the trailers for the movie...

it had to be removed -- it was the main reason that it was going to be rated NC-17 in the US -- it struggled enough to be rated R

I have now watched all the movies Magic suggested and I'm about to watch Clerks 2, just thought i should let you know :D (ok ok, so i saw my name in the quotes and felt compelled to click it, sue me)

Jay and Silent Bob are two of the funniest characters I've ever seen in any movie. Probably because Jay is dumb as shit...
