I downloaded this yesterday and its not too bad. I really enjoyed the first NOLF and this "teaser" was pretty good too. The graphics look awesome even with my crappy old system (PIII 500, 128ram, 64mb radeon). The level itself is based in an Ohio trailer park and has a raging tornado flying around in the background. You have to kill several woman ninja's until their boss arrives (the samurai sword is a pretty sweet weapon). The level itself is very short and only takes 5-10 minutes to complete and the official demo will be released in September so...if you're dying to play this game, go ahead and download. But even if you're not, it weighs in at under 50mb so it still might be worth it if you like FPS games.

I never played NOLF1, I heard around the campfire that is was absolutely pants. I might give NOLF2 a try though, see what I missed first time around.

And Cate Archer DOES look quite nifty in a catsuit ;)

I played around with nolf for a while but for sme reason i gave it up right in the middle of the game (i think it had something to do with diskspace or something...)

anyway i just downloaded and tried this nolf2 teaser and god does it look good .... unfortunately i was crushed by a trailer flying around in the wind but anyway :) i managed to kill all ninjas and to checkout a few things first (forinstance the training guide under the car)

but if the story keeps up with the gfx this game will be awesome :)

I enjoyed the first one except for the "be quiet and not seen" levels. I am more of a run and gun freak. But still it was an alright fps so am looking forward to the advanement of this next part of the NOLF series

Did you manage to finish it?
i try to beat the ninjas with a katana i found, but i get killed before... isn't there some ammo or weapon hidden in the level? :D

There are lots and lots of ammo "hidden" around the levels.
They look like small boxes ... there are also a whole heap of armour and health.
There are two readable objects (well there are three, since theres one inside the blue car, but i havent been able to reach thatone) and as far as i know no more weapons besides the gun, the katana and the shurikens.

although you can find ammo for a rifle.

Being something of a Lithtech follower, I've been tracking this games' progress for a while now.

All I have to say is this: Thank God the engine doesn't suck anymore. Tihs teaser demo runs faster than Aliens vs. Predator 2 for cryin out loud... LOL

And it'll be one of the few games to include and coop mode that allows 4 players to fight their way through a specially created version of the single player mode, I can't wait for that!

Yeah, there does seem to be quite an increase in performance on the latest version of the engine. This teaser actually runs FASTER on my pc, that Nolf 1 :/.
Its a cool idea for a level too. During the fighting, some fence posts infront of me got ripped out of the ground and pulled into the twister. A real 'CORRRRR!!!!' moment.
