Prince of Qin problem

Installed the game without any problems.
I start the game, then I choose new game and when its about to start I get an error but i dont know what error it is cause all I see are those strange signs. Any suggestions?

A little more details on your system could be helpful. Basically IŽd say try the game with newer gfx drivers...

Oh yes I played the demo without any problems.
My system: Athlon 1 GHz 300+RAM GeForce2MX 32 mb Win2k
There were a few times when I saw this strange signs in the demo too, but it was while I was playing, when I clicked on a door I think. Those signs were like greek letters or something like that.

Hmm Strange signs? Is the an actual error shown, does it crash to desktop? What is the exact problem. If it is that you are just seeing strange graphics at time but the game still plays it is just a bug. :cool:

I get an error message, but instead of a message i see strange signs. When I press OK the game crashes to the desktop. (I press the button 'New Game', black screen and error message, press OK, desktop)

I even dont get to see that picture only black screen and the last error message with those strange signs.

PS: I copied my save games from the demo to the full version and tried to load them: some loaded but after a minute or so i get black screen and that strange error message again. (all the items are gone, but my level is still 14: sweird)

Any suugestions?

I have see the directorys and there are 0 byte size files.

And when copy this files from the cd, i get read error.

alex831 can you see your install dir have you same 0 byte files.

In the SCENE directory there are 55 files thats are 0 KB.

Looks like a bad burn or a video driver problem

I didnt have any problems with the demo so I dont really think its a video driver problem. I dont think its a bad burn either.

legends71 have right, this is a bad burn .

The second cd is ban, a friend have burnd this game for me with fireburner, and sie installd the game with deamontools from the image, and have the same problame.

I have burnd the second cd again, but this time with CDRwin, i think this is the best writer softrew for cue,bin format image.

I have installd the game again and it is run, no 0 byte size files, and no error message.

alex831 I don't know what softrev do you use, but if you write again, do with CDRwin.

I burned it with Padus DisJuggler, cause CDRWin doesnt find my external burner.
I will try to burn ot again...

I have LG writer 24x, and the 3.8D CDRwin have not detect the writer, but the 3.9a-e yes.

just ectracted those 0 byte files from the image and the game runs without problems
