my new CD burner came with Nero Burning Rom, and it doesn't work very well at all, so i want to know what software most people use to give me an idea of what to try next.

If you could, would you also throw in the price you got it for assuming it didn't come with the drive.

Nero and clone..work just fine
I hate Direct CD tho..easy to use..yeah but if you write format CDRW with direct CD you can't open it in normal CDRW without directCD software..you could but there will be lots of error and many files can not be read

@Magic, how do you load cue files into nero?

sorry to take a while to reply: but here's how :

open nero - 5.5 or higher

close the wizard that comes up
put a blank cd in the burner
you should see a blank screen within Nero.
Hit File, select "Burn Image"
select your cue file in the window
hit open
the burn properties box will appear, configure them, and go.
wait a few minutes, burn complete :D

HP MY CD works just fine as it came with my burner
WinIso for ISO's
NTI, when I'm in the mood
and what ever works for any new stuff
But I do have Nero,FireBurner,BlindWrite
And As I burn tunes at a slower speed for the Quality
All these newest things just sit here.
