I recently downloaded Brotherhood of the Wolf (DivX), and when I try to play it I get no sound. Windows Media Player (6.4) always tries to look for a codec when I try to play it. I just downloaded the new drivers at divx.com. I also tried to play the movie with thier media player. Can anybody else think of anything else I can do to make this movie work?

Thanks for any help.

You need AC3 audio. Get it here

http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Filters/audiofilters.zip

or you can install DivX corporate that has AC3 audio from www.acedown.com. Just do a search for Divx

you can also do a search on google for something called nimo codec pack. it got all the codecs you might ever need.

Thanks guys. I ended up downloading nimo codec pack and now it works great. I wonder why nobody ever came up with the idea for that codec pack before?

Nimo has been out for a while. I dont like installing anything I dont need but I guess if you dont care...it will solve your codec issues.

I have downloaded it recently but didn't install it so far.
Can you install each codec individually or do you have to install everything at once?

It lets you choose what type of installation you want - default, complete, custom. For my personal PC I install codecs one by one as i need them, but for the other computers in my house i just use a complete Nimo Codec Pack installation.

I only install other codecs when it is 110% needed.
Had too many problems in past.
